01. Diagnostic Assessment
A diagnostic assessment is the first appointment you will have with a clinician. It is approximately one hour in length, and is focused on gathering of your background information and history, most recent concerns or circumstances that led to you reaching out and identification of your goals in coming to therapy. At the conclusion of the assessment, you will have an opportunity to ask any additional questions you have and determine the next steps with your clinician, which may include scheduling a follow-up visit or discussing alternative resources that may be a better fit for your needs.
02. Individual Therapy
Individual therapy sessions occur after completion of the diagnostic assessment. Sessions are often a collaborative effort between you and the clinician to identify ongoing areas of focus, updates or check-ins on progress and space for strategies or skills to be reviewed and practiced. Session length and frequency vary based on individual needs and will be determined by your clinician.
03. Adolescent Therapy
Adolescence can be a confusing and complex stage of life as it signifies a period of transition between childhood and adulthood. This stage can also trigger self-exploration, identity and the stereotypical thought of, "What do I want to be when I grow up?". Friendships often evolve, hobbies or interests can shift, and the social pressure can feel overwhelming. Adolescent therapy offers a neutral space for teens, ages 13+, to reflect and identify what is on their mind and what they want to communicate to others in their world.
04. Couples Therapy
Couples therapy is for partnered individuals that would like to improve their relationship and does not require the couple to be married. In fact, couples therapy can often be a proactive step in preventing long term difficulties with communication or navigating conflict. At other times, couples therapy can help to reintroduce the couple to one another after decades together and/or after children have left home. Couples sessions are approximately 60 minutes in duration and can be focused on a variety of concerns including but not limited to: communication, conflict management, blended family concerns, parenting, infidelity or affair, and contemplation of separation or divorce. Our goal is to provide you the tools and safety to help you strengthen your relationship, no matter what you are experiencing.
05.Telehealth Therapy
In addition to our physical office space we offer virtual sessions to make therapy more accessible to all. It will be required to verify that your insurance provides coverage for this service.
06. Accelerated Resolution Therapy
Accelerated Resolution Therapy (also known as ART) is a form of psychotherapy rooted in evidence based therapies but shown to have much more rapid results (1-5 sessions). ART is found to help clients heal from trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, poor self-image, phobias, PTSD, relationship problems and much more. Clients are in control of the entire ART session with the clinician guiding the process. The process is very straightforward, using a technique called Voluntary Memory/Image Replacement to change the way in which the negative images are stored in the brain. Importantly, clients do not have to talk about their traumas or difficult life experiences with the clinician to achieve recovery.
“A healer does not heal you. A healer is someone who holds space for you while you awaken your inner healer so that you may heal yourself.” Maryam Hasnaa
